Default valve cover paint?

hello everyone i have a question.... i have some chrome valve covers and the person who had them before me painted them ford blue....well i can chip the paint off with my fingernail but it would take forever to do the whole thing....i tried wiping the paint off with gas but it did not have an effect....so does anyone know how i could get this paint off without ruining the chrome finish? thanks

Aircraft remover, spray it on, let it sit, it will bubble the paint off, afterwards. clean the chrome with water to remove any remaining chemicals, then polish with a metal polish
