I know alot of companies sell powder coated brake calipers and the factory colored calipers come powdercoated. I was wondering if it would be possible to take off my calipers, clean them, and then get them powdercoated locally instead of spending $1000 on new brakes for the looks?

Yes they could do that, powdercoating isn't cheap but its cheaper than buying new ones

 

I would just save the money and buy some caliper paint. I have good luck with the Duplicolor kits.

call up your local powdercoating experts. It all depends on the prep needed before and the color you choose. They can do texture, shiny, clear coating...just all adds to the cost. Can't hurt to ask right?
