Default Best one application Wax/Polish?

Unlike some of you younger guys I'm getting to old to put on 2 or 3 coats of wax/polish/etc. I've used Nu Finish and have been very pleased with it. I use it about every 6 months and so far with all my other cars have been pleased. So knowing this should I stick with Nu Finish or is there a one "application" that is better? To be honest I do not know the difference between wax and polish so any information is appreciated.

A polish cleans the paint and gets it ready for wax. A polish will also bring out the shine and reflection. There are chemical polishes and abbrasive polishes. The chemical one are more for cleaning the paint and can bring out more shine. The abbrasive polishes can correct swirls and scratches and also make the paint look reflective and glossy.

The wax is just protecting what you did with the polish. 90% of how a car looks is in the prep work like claying and polishing. The wax or sealant just protects what you did.

I carry ClearKote Moose wax that is an awesome one step product. You can use it on paint, glass, and plastic and it leaves no residue. It can also be used in the direct sunlight and comes off like it was in the shade.

Another great product is Poorboys Polish w/carnuba. It can also be used in the sun and has no residue. This is not on my site but I have some. Let me know if you have any questions. All my waxes, spray waxes, are on sale right now too.

I would have to recommend Meguiars NXT generation Tech Wax. Comes off easy after applying and looks great.

I second the Poorboy's Polish with Carnauba. Polish with Carnauba - Blue would also be a great choice. They have good cleaning power and leave a slick, protective coating behind.
