Depends on the quality you'd like & the prep work involved.

Anywhere from $1k-5k.

Why not save yourself the time and horrible estimates by taking a ride to some body shops around town...

For a paint job that looks as good and lasts as long as the paint that comes on our cars from the factory... at least 2k for the whole car for a quality job

it all depends on how much you do yourself, a real good paint job that is going to last in the east will run you $2000 or more, all on if you have any body work the type of paint and clearcoat and how many layers of both. my paint job ran about $4500.

It also depends if you are changing the body color. If not, then there will be a lot less work if you don't have to have the car taken apart to get to all the hidden spots. I'm looking into the price of getting my doors repainted since I'm going to be shaving the door handles. Can't wait to get rid of those damn mickey mouse ear door handles removed. I'm still looking for a good quality kit, if anyone has a suggestion... This is the look I'm going for...

If you have access to an air compressor you can get a cheap paint gun and do it yourself. I can get you acrylic paint, hardener, and clear coat cheap, or if you have an auto body panels near you go there. I just painted my girlfriends turbo beetle outside bout 2 weeks ago, and it turned out great.
