I know that I have heard of people doing it but not sure that I have seen pictures. Can't imagine that it would look too great.

I think that I read a FAQ or how-to once about folks making their GT hood scoops functional. Not too popular for practical reasons.

I'd be interested to see they how too on making the scoop functional. I don't wanty to do it, just think it's funny someone would do that much work, for basically no hp gain, oh well, at least you could say you did it.

Ok, I want to get a grill for the hood scoop and for the front of the car that matches.......anyone know of any of these sets??

BTW 02 GT is what i have.

I'm sorry but why anyone in the world want to do that[:'(]. Just buy a new hood. Some people don't make sense. Oh well.

Try this site www.mwspeedshop.com they have matching grills for the front of the vehicle, lower air dam, hood scoop, and side vents.

Ummmm they were talking about if the hoodscoop was made functional..I.E. CUTTING A HOLE IN YOUR HOOD. That is what they were saying would make your engine compartment dirty not just taking the grill out.
