Chrome protection

Default Chrome protection

hey,
i just got my SLP 3.5' tips in, and before they go on the car, how can I protect them from road grim, corrosion, and chrome comn' off.

just want to protect them now, so i dont have to later when they're harder to clean on the car.

You can use chrome polish. I always use the same meguiars wax that I use on the rest of the car. If the chrome tips get crud stuck to them and its hard to get off, you can always use very fine steel wool to remove whatever is on them. It wont hurt the finish at all. Then apply polish/wax.
