Heat the tint with a heatgun until it is ready to peel up, if you get the tint to the proper temp it will peel of in one big sheet... youll have to use a razor for tint that gets left over. I did it on my 88, its really easy once you get the hang of it

I've heard of putting ammonia on it and then heating it. You think that works alright?

Rear defrosters on. Peal it off in one big peice. Takes 2 minuits. Just have fun getting the goo off afterwards. I've spent an hour so far and I'm not even done. By the way, whats the quickest way to get the residue off????

i find that wd40 helps too if you have that glue residue spray a little and hit with the razor

I found the best way was to pay the tint shop $175 to remove all the old tint and replace it with 5%. That's only about $40 more than just tint.

At Autozone... in the window tint section you'll find a Gila FR200 Film Remover "kit" -- a spray bottle a little scraper.

I took a lot of the tint off already, but now I'm dealing with the rear hatch window. I don't want to get at it with my straight edge as I still want to have rear defrosters. I bought some goo gone, if I just spray that over top of it and heat it, you think it will come right off?
