Default grill delete kit instalation

I got the grill delete kit for christmas and me and my brother instaled it. I thought it was going to be an easy 20 min. instalation but we ended up having to take off the whole front bumper to mount the bottom of the grill. Did we do this rightor was there an easier way?

take off the whole front bumper OMG! all you needed to do was pull out on that bumper, a pain in the ***, put your small ratchet in there and unscrew. sorta tight but better than doing what you did. you should of done a search on here first or read the directions

Took me like 20 minutes to do mine. I just bent the old grille downforward to remove the screws on the bottom and it came right off and the delete was an easy install after that. www.fordmuscle.com has a write up on how to do the install.

Ya know, taking the bumper off may not be the ideal or quickest way to do the job, but I would say it is the safest. Especially this time of year, that bumper gets cold and you pull it out and CRACK!

Its just not an easy job-when it should be a fifteen or twenty minute breeze. Kinda like Mach/Bullitt pedals, I've got a set and am dreading putting those in [&:]

We tried for about 10 min. just to get on one of the screws and couldnt get it in there to twist the thing. Therewas no way i was going to do that for all 4 screws.
Also, I got it from ebay and it didnt come with any mounting hardware or instructions. I didnt think I would need them. LOL. I guess i was wrong.
But hey, I got a hell of a deal.
