Default window screeching

whats the deal with this? whenever i move the windows and its not really wet outside they are screeching against the rubber (atleast thats what it sounds like) and creates a very unattractive sound, anyone able to fix this?

I'm on my fourth Mustang, and don't remember ever having a squeak... maybe because they've all been 'verts and the windows were up and down a lot. One of life's little mysteries.

Yup, same here. I've used a spray detailer over the inside and outside of the glass, then buffed it off. Cured it for about a week.

If it's screeching & not a scratching, take a rag, put some cleaner on it and clean the window seals & the little black triangle piece @ the front of the door.

Give it a clean every couple weeks and you'll never hear it again.
