I have seensome people talk about making vinyl decals and i was wondering if anyone could explain how to make them, or knows of a website that shows how to make them (not just apply them, which there are a 1000000000 websites about how to do it.)

it depends what you wanna make. my buddy's dad has a sign company and he (the kid) is doing vinyl car stuff like stripes, logos, etc., etc. now. i designed the stripes for the front of my car (because i didn't like the solid stripe that most ppl have) and we cut it out (by hand) of a sheet of metallic silver vinyl that he had and fitted it and installed it in like 1 hour. the hard part are letters...he used his dad's machine and we put it in the computer and the machine cut it out for us. my stripes are in my sig. and i also put "4.6 GT" on each side of the hood. the letters and stripes can be done by hand w/ straight edges if you don't have a machine...you just need to purchase the vinyl. it definitely is time consuming by hand...be forwarned. if you wanted one's already made, i could hook you up bro...
