Vinyl lettering for $12.50 or stainless steel for $54?

I can spend $54, but if vinyl looks good then I'd rather spend $12.50.

Which should I get?

Lol, well I can't tell if those are vinyl or stainless steel. So if they are vinyl then I like, thanks. Which is it though?

On the back I would definitely go with stainless. When it's clean it'll look way, way better than vinyl ever will. People's headlights will catch in the stainless and it'll light up and reflect very nicely.

I know they cost quite a bit more, but if the money's not a serious issue, I wouldn't even consider anything but stainless. Easily the better looking option over vinyl.

They are stainless.. Never seen the vinyl ones though... The ones on my car prob will last longer than Vinyl and they wont be bothered by the weather. I had some vinyl decals on the DD and about after a year they were fading and starting to orange peel..Although the ones I had were on the windsield and rear window where they sat in the direct sunlight all the time..

go with the stainless ones, trust me you will be happy that you did i have them on my car and they look awsome. My friend has them in brushed too they look good so depending on the color of your car i would go stainless or brushed.

I think he is asking whether he should get the metal inserts or the decal inserts.

Just a bit of insight, I just spent 20 minutes trying to install my letter "S" straight. This is my second one too...after looking at it crooked for six months I bought another set just for the one letter. Now, my hands are frozen to the point that I can't hardly type, and I am afraid to touch the damned letter because it is almost straight. But, I'm not positive it is adhered well...so it might fall off when I hit the highway. [:@]

I look to be buying the real inserts pretty soon.

I have vinyl on my car. I only went with vinyl (aside from the cost) because my car is black and the vinyl stands out pretty good. I didn't have any problems applying it (I have a '98 so I even had two extra letters: 'GT'). Just make sure to clean the area spotless and apply soapy water to the backside of the vinyl. I have zero bubbles or creases and it has been on for almost a year and I live near Seattle and it rains like a sonofabitch out here...

That being said though I'm definitely going to getstainless letterssoon though. It just looks freakin sweet...

do you have the stainless or the decal because i didnt have such a problem putting the metals ones on but i could see the decal being a pain due to it flopping and bending around and what not
