bad paint spot or sumthing

hey guys. i just moved my spoiler back on my 00 stang and i can see the area where the spoiler used to be. it has a lighter color. ive washed and waxed it and it hasnt changed at all. what do i do.

I would get a dedicated polish and go over that area.Once you polish the area it will probably blend right in with the rest of the paint.

glaze it a couple times and wax it and see what happens

wuts a dedicated polish and do i need a random orbit polisher for it?

Telling us what you used might be helpful -- what specific "wax."

Depending on what else you have, you could try a scratch remover, a pre-wax cleaner, or a polishing compound -- then follow with "wax." Most auto parts stores will have these products.

A Porter-Cable polisher, backing plate and pad assortment will run about 2 bills, but you can probably do it all by hand with a cotton applicator pad and some finesse.
