just wash it with soap and water, and then use ND!!!

i think 99.99993% of stainless steel tips are polished.

I've always used plain old brillo pads with water. Always came out great.

Brushed and Polished are both finishes on SS. I'm fairly certain that stock exhaust, which is not exhaust tips, just pipes, are just plain old unfinished SS. If you want pretty, you could get tips, but you should just use the opportunity to get a whole new catback and get rid of that stock exhaust.

Anyway, I just finished washing my car and I just washed my tips while washing my car. Didn't use anything else becuase I don't have anything, but since this is the first wash since putting them, they didn't really need any polishing. I'll start polishing once the big spring clean comes around.
