i use mcguires 3 step cept for the 3rd step, i use turtle wax, just cuz thats what i have laying around...one of my dads buddies showed me mcguires wax (3rd step) on his truck and it's so slimey and stuff...the turtle wax is kinda bland...both liquid, not paste...is the mcguires better? i dont really want to spend the money for it if its not better, turtle wax is a good brand...which is better? thanks

 

I wouldn't use Turtle wax on any of my vehicles. There are better products on the market. I like Meguiar's #6 , # 20, #26 ! I hear good things about Optimum from Justin. By the way, I still haven't ordered. Since it's so damn cold here, I'm not detailing. I've used Klasse and Pinnacle and I like them as well.

 

If you are looking for a good cleaner polish and wax I would recommend the Poorboys Pro Polish followed by the Natty's blue paste wax. These products will be on sale starting tomorrow. I'm having my whole Poorboys lineup sale priced.

 

go to pep boys or autozone and pick up some meguires NXT TECH WAX. i was told about it and used it on my o6 gt and its really nice. leaves a very nice shine and will last a whole lot longer than turtle wax. turtle wax isnt the greatest. the meguires is in a squirt type bottle and is creamy. or you can buy the paste. good luck either way.

 

Thumbs down for Turtle wax...I use NXT.
