i had a REALLY scratched CD that would skip even on my mach 460 (reads cd's very well) and i just got done meguire's 3 stepping it (liquid turtle wax as step 3) and most of the scratches are gone!!!! lol...now to see if the cd player will read through wax hahahaha[8D]

edit: now that i look at it under the light, its not that much better...but on the plus side its REALLY shiny and it smells really good hahaha

Give it a wipedown with a 1:1 mix of isopropyl alcohol and water with a microfiber towel or 100 cotton tee.
That should remove the wax products.

lol nah i was just in the middle of waxing some of my car with the music on...the cd was skipping so i had an idea!!! lol

Just use any quality plastic polish -- no need to 3-step.
