4" is pretty big. Might look good, might not. Would it even fit in the cut out on the 99+ bumper?

You don't want those tips getting to close to your bumper; they could start melting the plastic. I work for the accessory group in an automotive company and one of the parts we develop is cat-back exhaust systems. The magic number we use is 25mm for clearance between the tip and the bumper. Of course this has some safety in place; that being said, you shouldn't get closer than 12mm, bad things start happening.

i dont think 4in. would look good.... maybe for a pick up, but not a mustang...just my 2 cents
