Anyone know how much work it would take to stick 99-01 cobra taillights (the onese with the yellow turns) in a 99+ GT, i wanted to change out the tail lights on my car just to give it a different look but i didn't want to go with euros or anything of the sort (ricer) so i thought the cobra tail lights with the orange turn signals would be a good idea, especially since theres only 2 years worth of cobras with em... and since ive never seen them on anyone elses car i was just wondering is it possible/worth the time

**what gave me the idea is there were some japanese versions of the LE 35th anniversary GTs made and they came with the 99-01 cobra tail, i thought it looked pretty cool..

I think the tails you have now would look the best with that black strip that runs between them. The back end of your car already looks [sm=smiley20.gif].

 

a buddy of mine has an 03 cobra and he wants to do a full cobra r conversion and he said those tailights take a different relay to run on his car not sure if it was true or not but its something to think about

 

cobra tails use different wiring but you can put them on with the stock harness, the orange turn signal would not function
