Default Caught in dust storm - minor damage

Hi all,

I live in Oklahoma, and as I was driving on the interstate I ran into an enormous cloud of dust/small rocks with high wind. My black stang was hit a few times, and there are 5-6 very small paint chips on the very front of the hood and on the left side down to the primer. Also, there is a small ding on the Mustang emblem. I believe the windshield may have minor damage as well from the large sand that was striking it. (can see very small specks when sunlight is shining through it.) It's not major at all...can only notice if you actually put your head down there and look, but the fact is, there is damage.

Questions:
1) What can be done about these minor paint chips? Is this at all repairable?
2) Does insurance cover stuff like this (have full coverage)

Thanks.

I would call your insurance agent and explain what happened. Everything should be covered with full coverage.

You can get touch up paint from Ford. You can cover them up but you will still be able to tell a difference especially if there are many chips

The only thing you can do is have the parts repainted. you cant ever prevent stuff like this happening, your car will always have some imperfections due to normal day driving, get used to it....

or just call insurance company
