on 99upmustang.com they have a hood scoop for $130, it goes on with 3m adhesive and a spring clip... this had me a little worried, I emailed them and they said it will hold up under all kinds of weather. Has anyone bought one of these?

SOOOOOOO do pop-rivits from the inside of the seams of the scoop so you can't see them, going in from underneath the hood.

Pop rivets are the safest bet. The adhesive tape is a stupid and risky idea. I don't care how good 3m product's are...

It never held the body molding going down the doors of my Iroc-z.. EVER, it would always bubble or a corner would peel up in hot weather.

I'd also seal it so water won't be able to get in it. The last thing you'll want is to have it all washed and waxed and when you drive off all the water that's under it come pouring out. Nothing will tick you off more. Just my .02
