so i stop a friends house and turn on my unerbody's, i come back out about 2 hours later and they're off. well thats strange i thought i had em on, i look inside my car where my swtich is and its supposed to be illuminated when its on, well it wasn't and it was in the ON poistion, ok maybe the battery died, even though ive had em on for more than hours at a time before, nope lights are good and car started right up, unplugged em from the adapter box or w/e, let em sit overnight and they still dont work, ne ides?

 

Yeah I got a good idea. God made earth better by killing your neons. JK

Check the fuse, your switch could be dead....see if any wires pulled out.

 

it could depend on how you wired them to your car. for instance if its wired to the same wire as the fog lights or something, they will only be on when your headlights are on. certain wires are only hot at certain times...if its wired directly to your battery...then idk...fuse maybe?

 

OK NOW U MADE ME MAD< IM GOING TO CUT YOUR HEART OUT WTH A DULL RUSTY SPOON AND EAT IT FOR BREAKFAST!!!! ok sory, yea i took the kick panel off and found the fuse and it was blown, im not sure y it would, checked all the wiresd and they're all sealed, i mean no exposed wire on it, maybe the fuse just got old? don't know but the fuse was blown so thanx newayz, and the neons were installed by a ford dealership before i bought the car so it wasn't my choice to put em on, but purple neons on a yellow car lok sweet when u get the white smoke rolling up underneath it in the middle of the night

 

1 down a million more to go.

Haha, I'm only giving you a hard time. I really don't care what you have on your car, as long as it makes you happy then that's all that matters.

 

1. Glad you got it fixed.
2. Ford sells neon lights?
3. Why would you leave them on for 2 hours, when your inside?
