WD-40 removes permanent marker on fabric, and then you use a regular upholstry cleaner to remove the wd-40 residue. I've done it a few times on headliners whenI have to mark for flip-down tv's.

You might could get it out with a Magic Eraser.

+1
Use a bit of all purpose cleaner cut about 10:1 (to start with) with water.

Redress the console when you're done.

Best of luck.

Be very careful with the Magic Eraser though. It can actually take off the finish. I use it every once in a while on stubborn places.
