3M Products?
Have you guys heard of or used 3M Perfect - It?
It removes swirl marks and scratches. I noticed on my bumper that there was a scratch right after I bought it. The guy in the body shop whipped out a bottle of that stuff, rubbed it on and wiped it off and poof....no more scratch! You can't see or feel it! It's like it totally disappeared!

I use that stuff on my black vert. Works good. 3M makes some good products. They are usualy only found at auto body supplier shops, but now the products are starting to trickle into places like Pep Boys.
I've used the Perfect-It in the past. Works really well but it does tend to dust a lot. 3M makes some good swirl removers. The 3M line is really designed for body shops.
I use the Optimum line of polishes now. The Optimum Compound is great for medium to heavy swirls and the Polish is a great finishing polish. I use the HyperCompound a lot with my rotary polisher. It is really aggressive. I wouldn't recommend this for a beginner! The Optimum polishes don't dust, can be used in the sun, and can be worked in longer than most polishes.

Used by hand it most likely won't dust. I was talking about dusting while using a polisher. A product like Perfect-It is designed more for use with a high speed orbital or rotary polisher to get the most out of it. When you actually break down a polish by machine a lot of products do tend to dust.
I got a bottle from a neighbor. He used it on his WRX STi, which was used for Rally America racing! His car would get nicked all the time, he used it and it did a great job. I used it on my DD to give it a try. I used it with PC. I did not like the results and I have a lot of dust. Two weeks after using it and having some bad weather around here i.e. rain, snow and sleet. All the small nicks and scratches are back. It just filled them.
