Default Tint help

I have a pretty much stock 99 coupe, and I want to know if I should go with 20% or 5% tint. My cousin had 2% on his truck, and when I rode with him one night, I could not see a thing. Is 5% real bad at night? I don't care about the legality of the issue (I can roll down my windows fast).

I would go with 20% if I were you. I have 35% and it is still hard to see at night. There is really no difference between 5% and 20% so just get 20 so you can see a little better at night.

Don't go any lower than 20% or you'll regret it! It'll look cool from the outside but when it comes time to drive it'll suck!

Is 20% good to see out at night? I don't want to have problems seeing out the windshield or back especially. Also, that's within legal limits right?

I'm thinking of putting tint on my stang eventually, but I have some other ideas first that I want to get taken care of.

20% is going to be pretty hard to see out of at night. I have 35% on the front side two windows and it isn't bad at all. Problems seeing out of the windshield you shouldn't have because you shouldn't tint that. As far as the legal limits, it varies from state to state.
