I have 2000 mustang that is blue with white accents including rocker stripes and rear bumper inserts. I was thinking about changing the stripes and inserts to black and possibly painting the rear valence black. Do you think black would look better? Also is it possible to just use flat black spray paint to paint the vinyl strips and bumper inserts instead of buying new ones?

 

If you can post a pic that would be great, but I normally like the blue/grey or blue/silver combo...however, not sure how your's would look. BTW, I have a blue/grey 2004 Expedition.
