Default Polishing Metal

My tail pipes appear to be chrome...lol... [8D]

What can I use to bring the chrome out? What's a good polisher?

Thanks

Turtle Wax or equivalent brand CHROME POLISH. But if they are Stainless Steel and not chromed, Aluminum Polish might work better.

Either way its not just a wipe on/off process - if they are carboned up you will need to use a little elbow grease

That does sound silly [8D] And much more tedious work than the Chrome Polish and a shop rag.

on my stock tips i used some hot water, steel wool and a nice buff with a clean soft cloth. I'm sure if you used some chrome polish afterwards it'll look even better.A buddy told me to do it and they now look like they're chrome. They were all nasty and almost looked black.
