Default Questions about alterations

When I get my '05 Mustang I would like to make some alterations on it.
First off, I was thinking about getting white and putting blue stripes on it with one on the rocker panel also.
Would it be worth it to go for a custom paint job or just get decals? How much would it cost roughly for the paint job?
I also would like to get 60's looking spoiler, not really a fan of the std spoilers for the '05 don't really think they should be mixing modern with a classic look. Where would I find one of these looking on the net? What do I type in a search because I've found nothing? So, Basically I want it to look like a '68 Shelby Cobra, but without the badges.

it would be MUCH cheaper to put vinyl on your car as opposed to painting...i have no clue about spoilers for an 05, not much is available for them yet.

I know it would be cheaper, but would it look like crap? Isn't the life expectantcy of decals only 7 years?

Personally I would do a custom paint job. I havn't seen any spoilers for an 05 yet, but what I have found is a body kit by cervinis that will make an 05 look like eleanor from "Gone in 60 Seconds" if you want to check that out go to www.cervinis.com. Also just wait a while for the 60s spoiler. I know there will probably be a company to make one.

even if the vinyl only lasts 7 years...first off: what are th odds of you keeping your car that long, second: it only costs like 10 bucks at a local decal shop to put it on so its still cheaper. thats what ive done to my car and i think it looks fine.

They look just as good as a paint job.
Do you know of any good sites that sell them?
