Default Got my First job!

My uncle's 04 f-150 .
It's like a Forest Green color.
He's giving me 150 dollars for: wash, Meguiar's 3 step, interior detail (leather and he has a big dog [:'(]) and tire dressing.
I think it's a pretty good deal, I offered clay too, but he said no and insists he doesn't need it. [&:]
I will be sure to take lots of pictures and keep you guys updated.
Not doing it till Sunday though. [:@]
Any tips?
Fair price?

Congrats on getting your first detail job Bill!

All I can say is make sure you are very picky with the detail.Do everythingyou can to show your skills and how good of job you can do.Make sure to clean door jambs and fenderwells. A lot of time these are overlooked.

I think that is a fair price. When you give someone a price for a detail, base it on what your services are worth. Once you get more experience and have more knowledge you can charge even more.

I would do your family's stuff for free. Showcase the skills but be so worried about f*ing up. Practice makes perfect.

my friend and i were in business together detailing. for a truck like an F150...hand wash and dry, hand wax, interior vacuum, total dash treatment, leather cleaner if applicable, tire shine, and i think thats about it...we charged 80 usually...100 if it was really dirty. we were very reasonably priced...but still...$150 seems reeeaaally high to me....especially for family!
