Yah I got the idea from a neighbor. He has expensive cars: Ferrari, Porsche carrera, audi TT.. and he told me he only use baby shampoo to wash his cars.. Right now I use Meg's gold class car wash.

I've done this before I read in my mom's manual after she got her escape that it should be washed with something this is ph balanced or something like that, and baby shampoos are, it seemed to work well, but it is easier to clean with the car soap.
I don't know about using baby soap to wash a car... but my mom used baby oil to wax her faded 89 camaro... made it look brand new...
I don't think baby shampoo would work to tell you the truth... maybe for a quick wash, when you don't have time to wax after it. But for serious washing I would stick to regular car soap.

Stick to car wash soaps and cleaners...designed for the car and not a baby!

Has anyone washed their car with baby shampoo? It's mild and contains no strong chemicals so wouldn't this be an ideal car wash soap too?
