clear coat?
[align=left]i have a question.
i am in the middle of dyeing my interior, but as i checked out of autozone, the cashier and i were talking, and he said do NOT use clear coat on vinyl. Clear coat would crack if the vinyl moved at all.
for everyone who has done this, is it true? should i not use clear coat on my interior vinyl? right now i have my two door panels that have been dry for about 3 days, but when i touch them they feel kind of rough. not bad, but not like how they came from the factory.
any suggestions?

There is a product sold a WalMart called Bulldog "adhesion promoter". Its in the auto section with the paint products. You spray it on first. & the paint/dye will stick to the plastic without flaking off. I would not use clear coat on the interior, however they make two types- laquer & enamel. laquer is brittle & will flake right off while enamel is more flexible (although not by much)
