Default Treating leather seats

So I just used some Meguiars leather conditioner on my front seats (their aweful for a car with only 17K on it[:@]), anyway my leather turned out nice.... but their dull now instead of shiny like the back seats. What can I use?

The back seats are vinyl so they'll look shiny. Maybe there's a leather car product that will make your seats shiny too. Perhaps someone will chime-in on the subject.

Get vinyl in the front too! LOL sorry... but seriously its comparing apples to oranges. The leather conditioner you used is great but wont leave a shine. Dare I venture to say armorall on the seats will make them shine but it is dangerous and slippery and any cloth from clothing will drink up the armorall real fast. But leather doesn't shine and vinyl will. Just have to live with it I guess.

Lexol is good stuff. Sold at Pep Boys, AutoZone etc Also if you don`t mind spending the bucks, you can go to a place likehttp://www.autogeek.net& get products like Connoly hyde treatment ( same stuff they use on Rolls Royces ). Or other good products like Poorboys, Leatherique ( they use this stuff on Masaratis Sp?)

Ps: Juzstang may also have some of these products

Umm, Just so you know, regular Armorall is not designed to be used on leather. It will actually dry it out & cause it to crack over time. They do make leather wipes though. I have never used them,so I don`t know if they are any good.

i never post on this bored but saw this thread and was like what the h^ll ill see whats up. as a FYI this is what i do.. i bought a mustang with 100,000 miles on it the car was trashed.interrior hadnt been touched in 2years or exterrior the car just sat for 2 years. the leather was nasty and dirty and had motor oil on them. so i cleand the carpets AKA steam cleaner and got them looking good.. i tried several things on the seats.. from cotton ***** with alcohol...worked good but very hard on leather.. to meguiars.. i am a baseball player and from the country so i was just jacking around one day playing with my new glove loosening it up and i realised i could use it on the seats for my mustang.... so i tried it and it cleans them and conditions them... here is my process note.. this does take a while but works great!
things you need: Tooth brush, squirt bottle works great, towel.
take some of the saddle soap and put it on a section of the seat with a toothbrush.
with the bottle on spray...not jet... spray some water onto your seats and scrub with the toothbrush
if needed dip back into the saddle soap for more make it kinda soapy on the seat and then just whipe off.....
it will not leave it armoral shiny...but does leave it looking very clean and looking more new... kinda shiny but not like armoral i said.
works great.. my interrior is awesome by doing this... just need to find a way to make the ponys on the seat white again well good luck hope this helps someone.

If you read the instructions closely, I THINK it says to apply the product liberally then buff off. So I'm guessing you still have some of the solution on your seats that needs to be buffed out.

If that doesn't help, then throw it away and get some Lexol - that stuff is awesome

How about using Natural Look (avail. from Juztang) on both Leather and Vinyl. It is a low-gloss so that both vinyl and leather would look the same? I like the way it looks on all my trim -- don't care for the shiny look myself.
