Paint or Polish Pony Rims???
I have some pony rims that I am undecided on.I don't know if I should paint them or polish them.I finally got tired of looking at them just sittingin the garage(I was waiting till I needednew tires). I don'tNEED new tires now but.....
So theonlything I have done to them besides move them from spot"A" to spot "B" in the garage,is strip the paint with "Easy Off" ovencleaner....That stuff is AWSOME. Startedto bubble the paint instantly, took all the paintoff in like 15minwith very littleelbow grease(I rinsed them then took a rag to them). It even took off some rust on the back side.I just can't get the factoryprimer off with this stuff.
Whatwould the majority do?? Paint, Polish, or Chrome. Sorry, I don't have any pics at the moment because my dad has the diggy, and my camera telly isn't very woo-hoo.
Also I might see about getting some center caps made that will weld in, so you can see the lug nuts with out takinganything off. Like newer rims. Know what I'm tryin' to say?
