My little brother scratched the numbers 0-16 on the side of my stang. He used a coat hanger, but the scrathes didn't go though the paint. What will fix it? While on the subject, what will remove swirls?

 

guess he just learned his numbers? Maybe some scratch x by meguires if not that then your going to need to polish it out with a pc or something of the equevlant.

 

can you feel the scratches with your finger nails?

lol, he just turned 7. He usually does this but not on cars. No i cannot feel the scratches with my finger nail. So some polish should do it?

buffer with mild abrassive polish

After you clean the paint, use a little 3m rubbing compound being very gentle to not go through to the paint. Do it in the shade. Then polish and wax. I had a big rock bounce off my front right bumper and scratch the heck out of it. A little rubbing compound worked it out and you cant even tell...except for the 2 dimples in the sheet metal But that's what the ding king is for
