Default polished alum. vs. chrome

is there any major downside to having polished aluminum rims as compared to chrome. i know that the aluminum requires more maintainence, but that is no prob, im a neat freak when it comes to my car. is there any other major diff. between the two.

I'd rather have alum myself, since their lighter than chrome - but yea you just gotta stay on top of em cleaning etc.

i get people thinking my rims are chrome all the time...when theyre clean. I swear you have to clean them twice a day to keep them shiny, but im still glad i picked them over chrome.

chrome all the way, unless your a racing demon, but if your not into racing like a nut, chrome is so sick, on a sunny day, youll be blinding people left and right, and they wont be able to do anything but break their neck looking at you glimmer by them
