ebay's got some good deals for some headligths and corners for 94-98 imo. i got some smoked headlights (like the cobra r) from matrix racing. but buy new ones, you will want too after about a month after you clean yours, they will oxidize like crazy.

try wet sanding your stockers until all the dirt / oxidation goes away, then clearcoat em

what exactly is wet sanding

im guessing its wetting some sand paper, and scurbing like non other

i remember some product we used in the army to clean off the dirt off the headlights of vechiles after heavy manuvers, but i dont think they sell it here in the states

Wetsanding is just that- Using a piece of sandpaper with water. This will give a smoother finish, and make it easier to sand also. I would recommend using 2000 or 2500 grit wet/dry sandpaper. If you have one, a small orbital sander works great, plus it saves your arms all the work. 3M makes a plastic polish that can get them looking pretty good after you sand them. I would recommend using a buffer or one of those wool wheels for a drill or rotary tool though. You can get a lot better finish with the tools than by hand.

Hi,
Try using Mother's Plastic Polish strictly for the headlights. Also a buffer will get looking new again. It sounds like just
oxidation. Good Luck,

Matt

im in process of doing the ones i got off my parts car to see how they turn out, first use some 100ish grit tl all the yellow comes over then switch to 300 then to 1000 and get it all really smooth and clean, make sure its wed sanding just spray water on there as you go. once it is all sanded you need to polish them with a polisher and they will look as good as new, but dont mkae the mistake of many others and think they are done, it will look bad in another few months. once you are done polishing then spray clearcoat on them, when u wax ur car wax ur lights too and u will fall in love
