can you paint carbon fiber hoods? i want to get one and lighten up my car but i don't think the all black would look that good since the rest of the car is Yellow.

Stock is fiberglass - not much heavier than carbon fiber - def not worth it for weight savings alone - what hood you thinkerin about

my '02 is fiberglass, not sure when they started it but I know my year is and so are the ones after mine, I would guess 99+ but Im not sure

We changed out the stock hood on my wife's '00 GT to a carbon fiber cowl hood. There was a huge weight difference. The carbon fiber hood weighs 12lbs.
