let it run for a minute and get warm but not so hot you cant touch it with your hand...and shut it off then degrease, rinse, let it air dry maybe even get a towel and dry if needed then do the CD-2 and just walk away and admire...from which is soooo hard to come by where i live...imma have to order online[&:]...luckie
Actually, it's more than smoke. Metal expands as it heats, then the extremely rapid cooling and subsequent contraction will cause it to become brittle and crack.
off and cold, I just did it and after I rinsed, reveresed the hose on my shop vac, and blew the extra water out from around my coils. Worked perfect, and then I used plastic/vinyl detailing spray on the obvious parts. I was scared to do it, but I am very happy I did.
