Default DAMN YOU STREAKY WINDOWS!

I found a 2-pack of the ArmorAll gel soap and wax, at work today, couldnt find it at autozone or advance auto, so i got lucky. Also got some terry cloths and microfiber cloths.

I used armorall glass and mirror wipes on the inside of my windshield and my rearview mirror, but they left streaks no matter what way i tried to clean em. I was told to instead just use windex and a microfiber cloth? Streaky glass and mirrors are a pet peeve of mine. [&:] [:@]

Also, when applying the wax, would it be better to use the terrycloth or microfiber cloth? Is there a difference? [&:]

i like using foam pads for applying wax... It doesn't soak into the pad as much, so less waste of wax.

alright, well the sponge i got has two sides, one for cleaning the car, and one for applying the wax. Eh, ill try one part with the towels, and another with the sponge.

Ideas on the windows tho?

I use those wipes and dry the window right after with a microfiber cloth...they come out looking streak free and spotless.

The car came out looking awesome. Windows, wax, rims, everything is nice and shiny.

i would say windex is good enough, better with newspaper or phonebook paper b/c towels.. paper or not will leave lint and crap all over your windows. and as far as the waxing goes, use that circle application foam pads that you can get at advanced auto and then to pull up the wax use terry and then for touch up buffing after the removal use the microfiber towels. but thats just my opinion. happy cleaning!
