can someone please answer, i used the search button even. whats the biggest Tire/Rim sizes i can put on my cobra, and whats recommended? help please!

 

You've got 9" rims I believe, and I think 275 or 285 is recommended but you can go to I think 305 on the back - maybe 315 Im not sure but 305 would be better

oh and is www.discounttiredirect.com the best place to buy Nito 555 drag radials, because they only have up to size 275.

 

In the 5.0 mustang mag (Jan 05')they did an article on fiting wheels on a different year mustangs. Might be a good article to look into....

 

for a 94 ang up a 285/35R18 would fit rear only...I couldnt find the article online.

would it make my car a little slower if i went with 18's?

 

If the overall tire and rim was heaveir than whatever you have on the car now, then it would make it harder for the engine to spin. but the difference wouldnt be noticable. I wouldnt worry about that. Only if its a track car. Traction is way more important than that. You can have all the power you want, if you cant plant it to the street than what good is it? Burnouts? I think those 18 inch cobra's are really nice.

 

yea same here they are pretty sick, i think i'm gonna get em off ebay for like 1200 with the rim/nexen brand tires. then when those ware out i'll get some nito drag radials.
