To flame or not to flame?
I am currently going to college for automotive collision repair. My instructor has given me permission to bring my mustang in to fix a small dent and scratch on the door. I get everything at cost. that includes paint, pearl and clear. I am considering putting ghost flames on the stang. Nothing really flashy or tacky...more of a subtle yet aggressive look. I think that the car would look good, but I dont want to be considered "rice". Normally I wouldnt even think about doing anything to the exterior with only exhaust on my car, but for right around $400 for the repair and the flames...its kinda hard to pass up. The pics of the car are on MY CARDOMAIN SITE. Let mr know what you would do.
hell yea! i say go for it man, theres a stang in town here like yours, red but its a coupe, hes got blackish, grey flames going from the front bumper to about a 1/4 of the way down the doors. Not to much flame but just right. Looks pretty wild in my opinion. For that price Do It
see I was thinking about doing the flames. One of my instructors can do the ghost flames so they are almost invisible until the light hits it right and BAM they are in your face. He does it somehow with pearl coat....Im not 100% sure how he does it, but he did them to someone's car and it looked totally sick.
IMO its all in how its done. I've seen ghost flames I've loved and some that I've hated. Personally, I like ghost flames if done right. If you feel confident you can do them then I say go for it.
