Does any one have the white ac face gauges that glow at night? If so will you post a pic so i can see how it looks, or had any one seen this on a car? Thanks Brad

 

it will take a while to install cuz u have to take off the whole center console in order to get to it. and take out the radio/cd player. it may take several hours. i dont know it u think it is worth doing it.

 

you dont have to take out all that...just the plastic piece that overlays the face plate and a few screws...

 

I believe YinYang Stang just posted a pic of his somewhere... it should be in this section on this page most likely-- I'll have to look.

But, anyways, I don't think you have to take off the whole dash, just the cover over the gauges.

 

just the center part w/ the a/c vents and the trim around the stereo system, but in order to get that out u have to take out a lot of sh*t and is a lot more than what u see trust me. All that trim u see around ur radio is bolted 2 a main support inside the dash. I took mine out to paint it silver and it was no peice of cake[:'(]. It will take over 4 hours just to do that small modd I dont think its worth it[], but thats me. Just giving u a heads up.

 

Ok thanks all i think i will look in to something else then. I just thought it would look cool becasue i have the reversable gauges now for speedometor and all of that.

 

ya i think that would look cool. I just wanted to prepare u for a few hours of work that i wasnt sure u knew was required.

 

take into account that DVS has a 99 so his console might be a little different...when i put the ac plate on my car it took me half an hour.

 

ur right they might have changed it, but he also wants to make his a/c controls glow which will also require some electrical work thats why i said about over 4hrs.

 

sorry i missed that part...just get the white faced ac plate and it looks fine though in my opinion.
