I think he said he got it detailed and he didnt do it so he might be unsure of what the guy used. To dress up the hoses and plastic i use meguiars trim detailer keeps them shining nicely.

 

Not to hijack here but the easiest way to do that is, on a cold engine spray it down with degreaser, rinse off after 10 minutes, dry everything off real good. Then spray everything with CD-2 engine detailer. Just try not to soak the electrical parts too much.

i actually have a thread asking people what to do....i bought this stuff...you spray on engine let it sit for 5 minutes..light spray water and turn ignition on immedialetly
