Ok so I recently got a Porter Cable 7424 orbital buffer for my bday. I was just wondering, if anyone may have one, what they use applicator wise. Im thinkin about just geting some foam bonnets to apply polish, and some microfiber bonnets to apply wax, any suggestions?

 

I think you are talking about the foam pads. You will need a backing plate to accomodate all the different pads. The backing plate has velcro so the pads go on and off real easy.

I have a nice "Starter Kit" for the PC that is really popular. It includes a 5 inch flexible backing plate,orange light cutting pad, 2 white polishing pads, and a gray finishing pad. I bought these pads, from properautocare.com (cant recall how much, came in a kit)

Justin also sells pads on his site and can probably point you in the right direction.
