Default how bad?

so really how bad are body kits that aren't Urethane? i mean are they complete ****? i really want a Saleen kit but I don't have money to dish out for one but i have seen full kits for like 400 bucks that are on eBay. i mean i don't want it to be crappy but i was wondering if there was any durablity on these and not worry that its gonna break and look like crap. i mean i would love to get a urethane one but then again i don't have the money to do that and then get it installed and painted. thanks

Can't vouch for the fit and finish of the eBay kits, their are quite inexpensive though don't forget though you'll need them prepped and painted so theirs more cost to it than just the initial purchase. Main thing about urethane vs fiberglass is that the urethane kits are flexible - now thats not really important on any part other than the front bumper. Imagine pulling to close to a curb and instead of scratching the paint (urethane) up you bust a hole in your front bumper (fiberglass). Other than that I don't know of any differences.

they dont come pre-drilled and sometimes dont even fit, and even if you do manage to get it on the paint will chip so easily that youll have to have it repainted in a month.

well you don't want a cheaply made kit pre-drilled, you'll get a better fit if you do it yourself. with proper prep the paint will last just as long as the factory paint

Also fiberglass is heavier than the urethane. the saleen bumper hangs a little lower in the front and it is real easy to bump against a curb when pulling up to a parking spot. so just like MD said you will really damage the front bumper for a simple mistake like that.
