Default Detailing Novice!

Hi,

From the "ads" for clay bars, my car is totally in need of it - the dealer did one poor detail job on it and I am positive it had been sitting in the back of a lot of a 1/2 year with no care - paint feels very rough to the hands...

Is there anything special I should know before claybaring the car?

What brand would you recommend?

Thanks so much in advance,

check out www.paintcare-n-detailing.com. Its a pretty informative site. Clay bar's arent bad. Just be sure you keep the surface lubed.
Sounds like you might want to- Wash, Clay, Polish,Glaze and top it with a carnauba wax.

Check out liquid ice clay bar by turtle wax.. I have used it to detail many cars. Nothing but perfect results. Common compliments are, "is that a new paint job or something?" Maguires is awesome too. I use only those products, everything else sucks in my opinion. Good luck
