waxing.. please help
just buffer my whole car yesterday, dusted it all off and put it under the cover. now im at work and when i go home i am going to wax the whole car. i have turtle wax hard shell and carnuba cleaner wax. i was thinking of using the carnuba cleaner wax, and then the hardshell wax. will this look good or should i get something like the platinum series paste wax. please help me out here. thanks

Be sure to use the cleaner wax first because this product also removes any old wax. If you were to add a second coat of another product, it should be a straight carnauba such as meguiars gold class. You don't want to remove what you just put on.
I don't know about the Turtle Wax.
I don't know about the Turtle Wax.
I'd be interested to know what you buffed with and how's the paint condition and the color?
Carnauba Cleaner Wax, if you're talking Mothers, can produce very good results and provides excellent protection.
I wouldn't put anything over Mothers Carnauba Cleaner Wax except perhaps a coat of Pure Carnauba Wax for extra protection. Meguiar's Gold Class is not a pure wax, and whatever Turtle Wax you have likely isn't either.
You might want to use FX or Reflections Spray Wax after each wash, they're both a wax-as-you-dry, no-haze product and will extend the shine and slickness.

yah i used rubbing compound for the first step, and then machine glaze polish and then waxed it. alot of scratches and scuffs came out, along with tons of haze all over the front and rear bumpers. looks great.
