For this to be the original paint it still looks great to me.

Washed
Clayed
Washed
Cleaner applied
Wax applied
Polish applied

I say polish but both are really waxes. I've had good luck in the past with this...

#26 Meguiar's (yellow wax) - I just like this stuff.
and then
Meguiar's Tech wax - to me this gives it that wet look.

You can really tell the difference if you do your pre-steps. Wash, clay, wash, cleaner, etc...

Tech wax has a fair amount of cleaner in it and is a sealant based "wax". So it's probably taking most if not all of the #26 wax off since it's a carnuba based wax. Better idea would be to use the tech wax first then put the #26 on. You'll probably have better results that way and longer lasting protection. Not to mention the only thing that sticks to carnuba is more carnuba.
