Default Wahoo! Free de-tint!

So the other day I bought my GT. I like it so far. It's solid, fun to drive, and actually gets better mileage than my old car. I can't complain. But one of the things I didn't like about the car since I got it was the tint. First off, the **** is impossible t see through. Everything to my right, left, and behind me, is a blur. Not to mention I think anybody that puts tint on a car with defrosters is making a poor investment... but I don't mean to bash anybody by saying that.

When I first test drove the car, the driver side power window motor was broke. They replaced it before I even left the lot (official ford lot, had resources) but something went wrong during the installation. It scratched the HELL out of the tint, but apparently there's 0 damage to the window, so after speaking with the dealership I've offered them two resolutions I'm willing to take: they detint the other window and the rear (preferred) or they tint the driver's side so it matches until I can afford to have it all removed.

As of right now, the guy at the dealership is under the impression that they're taking my preferred route. Should increase visibility and decrease my complaint list about the vehicle. =)

I'f they don't detint it, I'll take a picture of something through the tint so you can see how crappy this stuff is, but man... it's so unnerving tonot know that that car behind me is a cop or not.=(

yea i know what you mean. Our cars do look very good with tint though. Do you know what percentage yours is? If you decide on re-tinting it down the linego with 20% or higher.

Agreed, from outside, my car looks sick. But um... I kind of need to be aware of my surroundings. I am not exactly the most legal driver, and I didn't buy my car for a commuter. [8D]

This is it with tint, hopefully she'll be lacking soon.
