I was wanting to paint some stuff in my interior.... like the center console, gauge bezel, window switch trimand theair vent trim. I have a white car,i cant decide if i should paint this stuff white or maybe a gray color. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

its like a light grey and a dark grey....the doors are light grey with a blacktrim around the switches, the steering wheel and the airbag are bothlight grey. just the center console is black and up on top is the dark grey. i dont think white would look too good with the light grey, maybe just a gloss black. what do u think?

I wouldn' t do white cause it def would clash with the gray. Go with black, it is a nice neutral color

Yea i think i am gonna go with black. Although some trim is already black, im gonna make it all a gloss black with some clear coat added too to make it look even better. Thanks for the advice though.

IMO dont paint them unless you want to repaint them every few months

IMO?.....Will the paint wear off easily? I was just looking on V6mustangstuff.com and they have a interior dash trim kit that they can make w/e color. I was wondering if it would be a good idea to get that, it simply goes over the existing components with 3M adhesive. I would get brushed aluminum bc i already have some billet aluminum stuff.

Won't the paint stay put if you properly prep, prime, paint and clear coat it, though?

It is, however, a mustang, and would still benefit from some more appopriate colouring. My center console is silver and matches like... nothing in my car. So it's getting painted to match my redfire paint. May be the only thing that gets painted, but it's definitely getting painted. =)
