Default lambo doors

I am thinking of putting lambo doors (not gullwing) on my '96 GT. I have been looking at a couple of kits @ GTfactory.com, puremustangperformance.com, etc. Any ideas, suggestions, inputs, or possible problems with this idea?

youll most likely pay more to maintain those doors than you will for your engine....

I've heard some things about leaking through the window seals and things, but I'm not entirely sure on that. There's a guy on here with a kit on his mustang, and it looks hot!! I'd go for it if you have the cash and want your car to stand out.

I would go for it. I read some articles in a mustang mag but I do not remember which one and the only thing that they said was to stay away from the cheaper ones.

There are some really nice kits out there, that are custom fitted for your car and specific needs, but yes they will be more expensive, many of these come with warrenties for leakage.

They do look good. I have a friend with an eclipse that has them... My cousin's RSX has them... Can you see where I'm going with this? It's the type of mod for that one guy who brings his Mustang to hot import nights. hmm... now gull wing would be bad *** and it's not the current hot import trend (yet).

I see where you are coming from but I have seen some stangs with it. In my area there are only two cars that I have seen with it. They are both imports (Civic and Celica) but, do you think that is enough to set a precedent on being a ricier upgrade?
