they tell me they're chrome. they're 17's.
That's a GOOD price. I paid $149.00 each for my front 17x9's.

where did you find that price? the cheapest i found where 250 each. chrome, 17x9's
www.buyfordracing.com

You have to watch their prices. they run specials often. I caught it at the right time. I have bought alot from them.

If they are chrome, not polished, that is a good price. OE wheels is selling chrome 17X9 cobra R replicas for a little less than $700. That includes shipping and insurance. Be sure to check on that.

I too am planning new wheels soon. Which is better. 17X9 front w/245/45 and 17X10.5 rear w/275/40 or 17X9 all around with 275/40?
Does anyone know any advantages or problems with polished aluminum or chrome???

Thanks

I have 17x9 front with 275/40/17 and rear 17x10.5 with 335/35/17. You need to go up on the size of your front tires a little with 17x9's and I would do 315's on you 17x10.5's. As far as finish, if you don't mind rubbing and polishing ALOT, get the polished...If you want ease of care, do chrome.

Thanks a lot for the input. I thought the polished might be a lot of work. Chrome it will be.
I will investigate going larger. With the 275's in front and 315's in back, are there any rubbing issues.
Also I plan to lower it about 1 inch. still OK?

Thanks in advance

Well, my silver GT had 315's in the back before I got my 335's. I have a 1.5" drop all the way around and Fox body shocks on the rear. I have had no problems rubbing front or rear.
